First of all, thank you for being a part of our OrangeHRM community and for
your interest in OrangeHRM version 2.5.
Our main goal was to get version 2.5 out to the community soon as possible
because there were many new users who wanted to get on board starting with
version 2.5.
As you all know, OrangeHRM 2.5 is freely available for anyone to download.
Upon the release of version 2.5, our next responsibility is to our users who
have paid for subscriptions - most them have customized versions of the
product and the upgrade scripts are different for each.
We estimate that the open source version of the automated upgrade script will
be available within 2 months (this is a tentative time period and will
hopefully be sooner).

its successful path. Reaching 250,000 downloads since its first release in
February 2006 on SourceForge.net is a great achieve and we hope to keep the

OrangeHRM 2.5-alpha.8 development release is now available. The punch in/out
feature which was combined with timesheets, is now separately available as
“Attendance Tracking” with a new attendance report. Take a peek at this
